Good Morning Yin Yoga...Open up first thing in the morning, receiving the full benefits of the yin postures while the mind and body, particularly the muscles, are still cool and calm. Physically, the connective tissue respond better to the longer holds of the yin practice first thing in the morning, before the muscles have had a chance to warm up. Allowing us to go even deeper into the body focusing on the bones, joints, ligaments, and fascia. Releasing any tension and tightness physically, so that we can mentally soften into the moment with more grace and ease. Cultivating a meditative mind that allows us to stay grounded, centered, and calm, throughout our day.
Class time devoted to lecture: Less than 5 minutes
