Katie Holloway

Katie Holloway is the Captain of the US Women's Sitting Volleyball team, a two-time Silver Medalist, and recently helped her team to win Gold in the 2016 Rio Paralympics. She is the first female amputee in NCAA Division I Women's Basketball history. Her amputation came after being diagnosed with fibular hemimelia, a deficiency where she was born without her fibula bone. Through sports she found comfort and success. Katie has been competing in Volleyball for over 15 year and is excited to teach others about the sport.
